Wall edits SCOPE volume

Diana Wall edited the book Sustaining Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Soils and Sediments. Published by Island Press in 2004, it is about the biodiversity in soil, freshwater sediments, and marine sediments and their role in the operation of ecosystems and provision of ecosystem services. The book was developed as a project of the Scientific Committee on Problems of the Environment (SCOPE) and is volume 64 in a series of books designed to assemble and synthesize current thinking in a diverse array of scientific topics. The book arose from deliberations during the final international workshop of the SCOPE Committee on Soil and Sediment Biodiversity and Ecosystem Functioning in Estes Park, Colorado in the autumn of 2002.
