The Wormherders' research was featured in another book by published by Island Press entitled Under Ground: How creatures of mud and dirt shape our world, by Yvonne Baskin. This book also grew out of the SCOPE meeting in Estes Park, but is a non-technical tour of soils research around the world that starts with a nematode collecting expedition to the McMurdo Dry Valleys.
