Antarctic Lecture with Tyler Mackey

The CSU School of Global Environmental Sustainability Antarctic Lecture Series presents Life under ice: Diving into Antarctic microbial landscapes, by our colleague Dr. Tyler Mackey on November 16, 2021 from 6:30-7:30 PM MST.

In this virtual lecture, Dr. Mackey will present an overview of the microbial landscapes found on lake beds in Antarctica and how their accumulated layers provide an important record of ecosystem response to changing regional climate. Dr. Mackey is an Assistant Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of New Mexico.

This lecture is free to attend; however, advance registration is required to receive the Zoom Webinar link. Questions about this event can be directed to Dr. Andre Franco at Andre.Franco@colostate.edu.
