Energy and Environment (E&E) News reports on the impacts the COVID-19 pandemic has on several long-term research projects, including three sites associated with the LTER Network. At MCM, conducting field research presents unique logistical challenges. Transportation to research sites occurs via helocopters and with the pandemic, it's unclear whether helicopter support will be available this season.
